In the age of AI, adopting a video-first content creation process is a necessity if you want to attract, engage, and retain an audience online. For bloggers, content creators, and businesses that rely on content to fuel growth, that means shifting to making videos first and repurposing that video content into other assets like blog posts, social content, short-form clips, and more. Here’s my process for doing exactly that.

Nice post
Embracing a video-first strategy can significantly boost engagement and visibility. Your post provides great insights into how prioritizing video content can transform online presence. Thanks for sharing these valuable tips!
I don’t get it. Says last updated a month ago and that you’ll be finishing the post “today”? But I don’t see anything.
Lol funny how time just sort of whisks away, eh? This post is in-progress behind-the-scenes still, planning to wrap it this week 😂
Great article! thanks for sharing such a useful blog.
Thank you so much for doing this Ryan,
It is exactly what I was going to ask for or at least one of those items.
The other thing you may already intend to include, but may care to add if it was not intended to be included is some description of the equipment that might be needed for the video-first approach.
I don’t actually care if it makes money or not. The kind of video I want to make involves me conducting interviews of what we all think of as very ordinary retirees. I have learned that many of these are really interesting people. Everyone has one person central to their life and it is usually themselves.
I would also appreciate any wisdom you may have on preserving these interviews for future generations and what equipment might be most suitable for that.
Thanks again,
