About the Episode:
In today’s episode, we’re talking to Vanessa Van Edwards, a behavioral investigator and national bestselling author of her recent book, Captivate: Using Science to Succeed with People. Vanessa is also a corporate speaker, body language trainer, and has had her work featured on CNN, Forbes, NPR and so much more.
I originally got to meet Vanessa when she came through CreativeLive, to teach a series of online classes about topics like mastering your people skills, body language and how to become a more effective negotiator.
On top of all this, Vanessa also runs Science of People, her human behavior research lab, blog, and hub for educational resources on all things charisma, influence and understanding people.
Today’s interview is another that I originally recorded for The Inside Sales Summit last fall. That was the online event I co-hosted with Close.io (the inside sales CRM of choice for startups) and for that event, I did interviews with people like Grant Cardone, Steli Efti, Michele Romanow, Neil Patel and more.
So, if you enjoy you hear to today and you want to keep this fun going—then check out the other 50 plus interviews just like this one over at insidesalessummit.com. But for today, we’re here with Vanessa Van Edwards.
